400 sq ft of brand new, extra Shou Sugi Ban siding

400 sq ft of extra, brand-new, Yakisugi “shou sugi ban” siding (original retail $13/sq ft) from Nakamoto Forestry. Boards are 12' long. A weathering stain is designed to mimic the look of moisture-aged, silver wood. The initial silver pigment in the stain will wash off of the walls within the first several seasons, leaving them to turn a beautiful and unique brown to silver range. The color will continue to change and patina over time.
