Chrysotile asbestos, 20 - 50 kg. bales make a 1,000 kg. wrapped pallet. Imports of this product has been restricted in many cases. This was imported years ago from Canada, before they closed down. It is used in diaphragms to make sodium hydroxide and chlorine, sheet gaskets, brake blocks, aftermarket automotive brakes/ linings, other vehicle friction products and other gaskets. Mixed in cement products such as roof tile and additive for plaster workability. Mainly manufactured in Russia in which U.S.A. has a trade embargo with. So there are no shipping fees, tariffs and importing red tape. Found the same Russian made product in India for $450 per 50 kg. bale.
